ADKAR Change Management: Application for Training

Change is constant in today's complex business environments. There are many organizational change models. Some fail to fully address how things get done in organizations - by individuals. ADKAR describes the five key building blocks an individual needs to make a change successfully. ADKAR is:
- Awareness of the need for change
- Desire to participate and support the change
- Knowledge of how to change
- Ability to implement the change
- Reinforcement to sustain the change
In this session we will review the ADKAR model and discuss application for trainers. You will complete an ADKAR Business Change Management assessment. You will each receive your own personal copy of the book by Jeff Hiatt, ADKAR: A Model for Change in Business, Government and Our Community.
Date: Thursday, June 25, 2009
Time: 11:30 - 1pm.
Place: Blue Cross of Idaho. 3000 Pine Street (off of Eagle Road). Meridian
Cost: Members $15/Non-members $20 - Includes Lunch
